STYLE IT LIKE THE WADE TWINS
We caught up with The Wade Twins for a day of shooting in the heart of Birmingham City to talk everything, travel, style, health & fitness related. Having recently left their wanderlust adventures behind to focus on building their personal style blog, we were curious to know how their exotic travels have inspired their effortless, put-together looks & see how they can seamlessly weave in our Luxury Mens Collection into their aesthetic.
EVEN THOUGH YOU'RE TWINS, DO YOU EACH HAVE A UNIQUE STYLE?
HENRY: Definitely, even though we share a similar style we both have a style that simultaneously compliments each other but has it’s own unique flare that sets us apart from one another.
HOW HAVE YOUR TRAVELS INSPIRED YOUR FASHION AESTHETIC?
WILL: We’ve travelled to some really phenomenal places, each place in the world has it’s own individual style so you pick up bits from each place to form your own individual style. I’d probably describe our fashion style as ‘Smart-casual’ with accents of Luxury, which is where Luxy London ties in really nicely. I think the hot climates have inspired us to where a lot of casual fashion items, but mixing in our smarter staple fashion pieces as well.
WE'VE NOTICED ON YOUR INSTAGRAM THAT YOUR HEALTH & FITNESS REGIME IS REALLY IMPORTANT. IS IT?
HENRY: It’s very important. We believe in looking after the body & the body will look after you. We just love to feel good from within.
WHO ARE YOUR FAVOURITE STYLE ICONS?
WILL: I wouldn’t say either of us have a personal Icon, we just wear what we feel is the best look for us.
WHERE ARE YOUR FAVOURITE PLACES TO GRAB A FASHIONABLE PIECE?
HENRY: I recently picked up some amazing white pumps from TK- max that look really expensive. I love to grab a bargain, it’s not the price, but how you style it! Will: I like a mixture of high-end and high street. Zara is one of my favourite places to grab a stylish piece.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE NEW LUXY MENS COLLECTION?
WILL:We’re a big fan of the Luxy collection, the combination of luxury & casual make it the perfect collection for us. It’s nice to be able to wear your luxury fur pieces day-to-day & feel comfortable. If we had to pick we’d say that the bombers are our favourite pieces, we love the plush lining - it’s such a perfect feature for the bitter cold. Another big plus is that they’re just so easy to style, you can throw a bomber over anything & it’s going to look effortless. Big fan!
